  DANGEROUS EXPERIENCE: Almost a year ago I was in excruciating pain in one of my molars. Because the tooth was so damaged from a deep cavity, it got an infection. The dentist here gave me antibiotics and it cleared up but instead of pulling it then, he did a root canal and it was already a weak tooth with a giant hole in it. He said it was to "save the tooth", but it was obvious that the tooth was beyond repair and he put me at greater risk later. This is why I believe it was more about the insurance. While I appreciated him taking me in the first place and he did a decent job with the root canal, he refused to pull the tooth even though that was against my wishes. After he did a filling w/ a white temporary substance versus a more permanent filling, he then told me the tooth was shaved too low so they couldn't put a cap on...long story short it got infected again once the filling wore out about a year later. The tooth cracked, putting me at risk. I couldn't eat. And when I needed an emergency appointment on the weekend, they were closed. I was really scared because the infection could have been exposed and spreaded. In the end, I had to pay over $200 to another dentist to get the tooth pulled once the infection cleared. But I would not go back to Royal Dental Group. I just don't feel like they care about my well being.

  This is a review based on my husband's experience at this particular office. After waiting an hour past his appointment time on his initial appointment, he received a less than stellar cap on a chipped tooth. Within a month, it broke off and he called the office to get it fixed and the doctor essentially threw a temper tantrum about having to fix it..but did. After my husband waited another 90+ minutes past his appointment time. Needless to say, he did a horrible job with sharp edges still left out poking into my husband's tongue. It fell off again the NEXT DAY. My husband then went to another, far more professional dentist who fixed it immediately free of charge because of how much of a botch job it was. DO NOT GO HERE. You'll wait a while, get sub par work and leave miserable.
